Ruby Jeanine Garland

Services for Ruby Jeanine Garland, 54, of Gladewater, will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Larry W. Osborne and Dick Dobbins officiating. Ruby passed away in Longview, Texas surrounded by her loving family. Ruby Jeanine Garland was born to Johnny and Jean Dishman in Marshall, Texas on November 20, 1960. Ruby and her family owned and operated the Dairy Queen in Gladewater for over 40 years. She married Jerry Garland on July 30, 1983 and together they made Gladewater their home. Ruby was a devoted and loving wife and mother. She adopted her children"s friends as her own; offering counsel and guidance to them just as she did her own children. She also spoiled her four legged babies as well, never discriminating against dog, cat or turtle in her affections. Mrs. Garland is survived by her husband, Jerry Garland; her sons and daughters-in-law, Jacob and Shayna Garland, Jesse and Jessica Garland; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; and 1 precious grandchild on the way, Harper Garland. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jed Dishman. Pallbearers will be Richard Brewster, Brent Abernathy, Sammy Dishman Jr, Bunker Jimerson, Cameron Cockerell, Cody Burks. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 30, 2015 at Croley Funeral Home.
