Ruby Henderson

GILMER � Graveside services for Ruby Henderson, 77, of Gilmer, will be 10 AM Thursday, July 12, at Gladewater Memorial Park with Pastor Jason Ellis officiating. Mrs. Henderson passed away on Sunday, July 8, in Gilmer. Ruby was born June 24, 1935 in Rusk County to Frank and Velma Morris. She worked as an LVN and was married to Carl Henderson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; her parents; a son, Larry Henderson; a daughter, Judy Hahn; a granddaughter, Crystal Henderson; a brother, Thurman Morris; and a sister, Dorothy Parsons. Ruby is survived by 4 sons: Glen Ellis of Odem, John Henderson, Carl Wayne Henderson and Donald Ray Henderson all of Gilmer; 2 daughters: Brenda Ellis McFarland of Chandler and Ann Glenn of Pritchett; 4 brothers: Lawrence Morris of Liberty City, Doyle Morris of Gladewater, Don Morris of Diboll, Alton Morris of Gladewater; sisters: Betty Warlick of Henderson and Virginia Shank of Seguin; 17 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM, Wednesday, July 11, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer.
