Graveside services for Royce Threadgill, 75, of Gilmer, Texas will be held at 11:00 A.M., on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Willow Oak Cemetery in Upshur County, Texas will Reverend Holland Atchley and Reverend Don Whisenhunt officiating under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mr. Threadgill passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 and was born on April 28, 1941 in Gilmer to Nelson and Cleolo Cook Threadgill. He retired from Rob Roy Industries and was a member of New Way Country church. Mr. Threadgill married Linnie Minshew Threadgill on September 21, 1963. Mr. Threadgill is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Linnie Threadgill; children, Rhonda Threadgill, Rochelle Threadgill, Ronald Threadgill, Robin Stephens, Rodger Threadgill, Royce Threadgill, Jr.; grandchildren, Ryan Threadgill , Jessica Northum, Lauren Edwards, Lindsey Threadgill, Tommie Newsome, Amber Threadgill, Trey Whorton, Kayla Threadgill, Nathan Davis, Dakota Threadgill; great grandchildren, Aarianna Webb, McKenzie and Aubrei Davis, Brynleigh Parish; siblings, Billy and Nannette Threadgill, Buck and Dixie Threadgill, Kenneth and Judy Threadgill, Eva Nell Mathis, Larry Threadgill, Robert and SeRita Threadgill, JoAnn Clinton and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson and Cleola Threadgill and granddaughter, Whitni Ray. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
