Graveside services for Roy Warren Crow, Jr., 93, of Pritchett, formerly of White Oak, will be Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at New White Oak Cemetery with Bro. Bill Voss and Bro. Travis Kitchens officiating. Mr. Crow passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020, at his home surrounded by family.
Roy was born May 30, 1927 in Winnsboro, Texas to the late Roy Warren Crow, Sr. and Bonnie Cordelia Hall Crow. Mr. Crow served in the United States Army during WWII and the Korean War. Roy married Mary Joyce McDonald in Paris, Texas on June 27, 1959 and they spent 60 years together until her passing in October of 2019. He worked as a tractor mechanic and farmer. Roy in his earlier years enjoyed bass fishing, deer and coon hunting. Over last few years he spent his days sitting on the porch feeding the birds and watching the rabbits and squirrels play. Roy was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He is survived by his children Tim Crow and wife Gail, Annette McCown and husband Walter and Mark Crow and wife Jeanette; step children Mike Bolton and wife Josephine, Johnny Bolton and wife Adele, Debbie Girard and husband Harold and Joy Miller; grandchildren Tami McCown and Corey McCown; step grandchildren Jeff Kennedy and wife Miranda, Scotty Kennedy and wife Mandy, Melissa Westbrook and husband Glenn, Heath Miller and wife Courtney, Clint Bolton and wife Gina, Cody Bolton and wife Nikki, Zac Bolton and wife Jennifer, Lisa Bolton and husband Bo and Jennifer Carpenter and husband Kenny; eighteen great grandchildren as well as many other loving family and friends.
Roy’s grandson Corey McCown will serve as an Honorary Pallbearer.
