Graveside services for Mr. Roy May, 70, of Gilmer will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at Sunset Memorial Park with Bro. Leonard Harris and Pastor Michael McGuire officiating under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mr. May passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014 in Gilmer. Mr. Roy May was born February 6, 1944 in Joaquin, TX, to Zan and Audie Sims May. He was a retired welder with Trailmobile and Rescar in Longview and a member of Abundant Life Temple in Gladewater. He is survived by his brothers, Don May and wife, Mary of Joaquin and Sammy May and wife, Martha of Center; sister, Reeta Ann Frieze of Las Vegas, Nevada; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Leonard and Wanda Harris of Red Oak, TX; sister-in-law, Kay May of Gladewater; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. May was preceded in death by his wife, Annette Patton in 2011; parents; brothers, Asa, Jimmy and Ray May; sisters, Ruby, Carolyn, Billie and Bobbie. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 10, 2014 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
