Roy Alton Martin, Jr.

Celebration of Life services for Roy Alton Martin, Jr., 46, of Gladewater are to be held 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater with Pastor Roy Roper presiding. Mr. Martin was taken to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, August 12, 2018, in Longview, Texas.

Mr. Martin was born December 13, 1971 in Tyler, Texas to Roy Alton Martin, Sr. and Jill Payne Martin. Throughout Roy’s life he worked beside his father, he was a licensed insurance adjuster and more recently worked for Re-Bath of Tyler. In 2001 Roy married Stacy Causey and they were blessed with 3 children. Roy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, but he was most happy coaching his children in baseball and softball. He will be profoundly missed and always remembered as a hard working provider for his family.

Roy is survived by his wife Stacy Leigh Martin; two sons Andrew and Garrison Martin; daughter Charlee Martin; mother Jill Payne; sister Jennifer Martin Ray; brother Richard Martin as well as many other loving family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Roy Alton Martin, Sr., Grandmother Jenny Payne; Grandfather B.J. Payne and Grandmother Maydell Martin Skinner.
