Rowan Reed Bailey

Rowan Reed Bailey, age 91 of Gilmer, Texas passed away on December 11, 2022. Rowan was born in Gladewater, TX to the late Walter and Effie Barksdale Bailey.

He is survived by his loving wife, Johnnie Bailey; children Wesley Bailey and wife Vicky, Wayne Bailey and wife Shelia, Kent Bailey and wife Debbie, Melanie Brown and husband Kent; and Steven Bailey; sister Pauline Shirley; grandchildren Cory, Casey, John, David, Taylor, Aaron, Alan, Clayton, Stephanie, Rhonda, Tonya, Angela, Natalie, and Jennifer; as well as 34 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Virginia Bailey; and parents Walter and Effie Bailey.

Public Viewing will be held Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Croley Funeral Home of Gilmer.

Graveside service for Rowan Bailey will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Enoch Cemetery with Bishop Kenneth Yates officiating.
