Roselyn Griser Lindsey

Roselyn Griser Lindsey, age 96, resident of Gilmer, TX, departed this life on December 11, 2018, at Focused Care of Gilmer.
Roselyn was born October 6, 1922, in Kaufman, TX, to John Kasper and Elizabeth Anderson Griser. She was a graduate of Canton High School and attended Lon Morris College in Jacksonville, TX.
Roselyn married Oliver B. Lindsey on February 21, 1942, in Gilmer. Her hobbies included sewing, painting, gardening, fishing and going camping. She also treasured special times with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Oliver B. Lindsey in March, 2010, and is survived by sons, Jan A. Lindsey, and wife, Marsha, of Lake St. Louise, MO, Larry N. Lindsey, Sr., and wife, Sheryl, of Gilmer, TX, Brent N. Lindsey of St. Pete Beach, FL; six grandchildren, MeLisa Williams, Larry Lindsey, Jr., Michell Beals, Alan Scott Lindsey, James Lindsey and Scott Christopher Lindsey; eleven great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lindsey will be held 11:00AM Saturday, December 15, 2018, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer, with Reverend Matthew Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Kelsey Cemetery. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Larry Lindsey, Jr., Alan Scott Lindsey, James Lindsey, Michael Watkins, Cooper Lindsey and Brent Lindsey.
