Mass of Christian Burial for Rose Marilyn White, 82, of Gladewater will be celebrated 10:00 am, Friday, September 29, 2017 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Union Grove with Father Mark Dunne officiating. Under the direction Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Interment will follow at West Mountain Cemetery in West Mountain.

Mrs. White passed away unexpectedly on September 25, 2017 in Gladewater, Texas. Rose White was born to Homer and Dixie Cross on May 21, 1935 in Akron, Ohio

Rose married the love of her life, Ronald White Sr. in 1954. They had over 60 wonderful years together, which included having 8 beautiful children. When Rose and her husband retired from their family-run business, White Industrial Tool, they moved to Gladewater, Texas. She was a devout member of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Union Grove, Texas, where she was loved by many. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, taking walks outdoors, dancing and singing. Rose will be remembered for her nurturing and caring personality, always putting everyone's needs before her own. Rose never met a stranger, she always welcomed and got along with everyone.

Rose is survived by Sons Robert White and wife Debbie of Marlington, Ohio, Ronald White Jr. and wife Pamela of St. Joseph Township, Ohio, Richard White and wife Sue of Randolph, Ohio, Christopher White and wife Mary of Ravenna, Ohio, and Thomas White of Gladewater, Texas; Daughters Barbara Jean White of Atwater, Ohio, Sheila Ayers and husband Mike of Hammondsville, Ohio, Regina Skinner and husband John of Gladewater, Texas and 22 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents Homer and Dixie, Sister Mary Cross, Brother Wilbert Cross and 3 grandchildren Ronald White III, Cody White, and Ashley White.
