Rosa Maria Ramirez

Services for Rosa Ramirez, 45, of Gilmer, will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, April 21, 2022, at New Beginnings Baptist Church in Gilmer with Javier Valdez officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Gilmer. A visitation period will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 Am prior to the service.

Rosa Maria Ramirez was born August 8, 1976, in San Pedro, Sula, Honduras, to Efrain Ramirez and Victoria Conception Betano Ramirez. After moving to the states, Rosa finished high school in Gilmer. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking for her family, shopping, and spending time with family and friends. She always had a heart for helping others.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Victoria Jones.

Rosa is survived by her husband, Octavio Mendoza; father, Efrain Ramirez; grandmother, Lucia Reyes Betanco; son, Jose Ramirez and wife, Maleisha; daughters, Anna Sanchez and husband, Hermilio, Miriam Ramirez, April Perez; brothers, Jose Jones and Franklin Jones; sister, Ana Ramirez; eighteen grandchildren; a special aunt, Miriam Abrego and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
