Ronnie Earl Roberts

Services for Ronnie Earl Roberts, 76, of Kilgore, will be held 3:00 pm, Saturday, September 9, 2017, graveside at Danville Cemetery in Kilgore, Texas, with Brother Ellis Roberts officiating. Mr. Roberts passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2017.

Ronnie was born September 14, 1940 in Henderson, Texas to John Roberts and Stella Schmidt Roberts. He held a deep love for music that included playing the guitar. He had an affinity for old western movies and was a huge Elvis fan. Being from East Texas he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Ronnie always believed in staying busy and most often could be found working in the yard. He had a fondness for making you smile. He loved his children and adored all of his grandchildren, who he enjoyed spending time with.

He is survived by four beautiful daughters Tammy Gaston and husband Dale, Tracy Floyd and husband Thomas, Tabatha Roberts, Tiffiney Clinnard and Husband Matt; brother James Roberts and wife Lequita; eleven grandchildren Ronnie, Angela, Johnny, Latisha, Chris, Kasey, Kayla, Dakota, Katelynn, Mallory and Chase; five great grandchildren Allison, Nathyn, Briana, Kinsley and Eleanor as well as many other loving family members and friends.

Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years, Maggie Levirn Roberts; parents John and Stella Roberts; step-mother Grace Roberts; brothers George and Larry Schmidt; sisters Shirley Lovelady and Paula Sue Roberts.
