Ronald "Ron" David Hensinger

Ronald (Ron) Hensinger, 65, peacefully passed away on February 9, 2018, at his home in Big Sandy, Texas. He was born on April 10, 1952 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana to Daniel J. and Dorothy M. (Litchfield) Hensinger. He married Cynthia (Cindy) S. Arnold in 1974. In 1983, Ron moved to Arlington, Texas with his wife and children. He later moved to Big Sandy, Texas in 2002. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Gilmer, Texas. He was a member of the International Union of Elevator Construction for over 45 years. He retired form Thyssen Krupp Elevator Company in May, 2017.
He is survived by his wife; Cindy, daughter; Melissa (Brian) Eastman, sons; Matthew (Kate) Hensinger and Tony (Miranda McKissick) Hensinger, grandsons; Noah, Harrison and Sawyer Mattocks, Sam Eastman, granddaughters; Charlotte, Harper and Rose Lynn Hensinger, Emmily Eastman, mother; Dorothy Hensinger, brothers; Steve (Phyllis) Hensinger, Tom (Sheryl) Hensinger, sisters; Jeanne (Harold) Gunkel, Carol (Randy) Arnold, Peggy (Larry) Early, Linda (Harley) Herron, brothers-in-law; Bill Hause, Mike Gunkel, and nieces and nephews.
Mr. Hensinger is preceded in death by his father; Daniel Hensinger, sister; Kathy Wallace, Mary Gunkel, Janet Hause, and brother; Kenneth Hensinger.
Mass of Celebration will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2018 12:00 P.M. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Gilmer, Texas with Reverend Mark Dunne officiating. Family will receive friends Monday, February 12, 2018 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer with Rosary beginning at 6:00 P.M. Interment will be held at St. Gaspar Cemetery in Rome City, Indiana.
Pallbearers will be, Justin Neuse, Ed Bach, Tom Faust, Mike Bratton, Arbrey Stiefer, and Derek Scheuler.
