Mass of Christian Burial for Ronald John White, Sr., 78, of Gilmer, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church on Thursday, December 31, 2015 with Reverend Mark Dunne officiating. Mr. White passed away in Longview, Texas on December 25, 2015. Ronald John White, Sr. was born to Robert John White and Veronica Frost White on January 1, 1937 in Akron, Ohio. He was self employed as a machinist and was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church. He married his sweetheart, Rose Cross White in Ohio in 1954. Mr. White is survived by his wife, Rose White of Gilmer; sons: Robert John White, Ronald John White Jr., Richard Lee White, Christopher Brian White, Thomas Andrew White; daughters: Barbara Jean White, Sheila Ann Ayers, Regina Marie Skinner; brother, Vincent White; sisters, Judith Faye Kriger; twenty-two grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Barbara Jean Horning. Pallbearers will be Ronald Ayers, Michael Ayers, Nicholas Ayers, Matthew White, Joseph White, and Daniel White. Honorary pallbearers will be Brian White, Thomas White, Jr., and Noah "Luke" White. There is no formal visitation set for this service.
