Roger Blencoe

Roger was born January 3, 1940 in Black River Falls, Wisconsin to the late Oscar Blencoe and Beatrice Wassow Blencoe. Roger passed away Monday, July 25, 2022, in Hawkins. Roger was a man of God and above all, loved spending time
with his family. Roger married the love of his life Carolyn Pruitt Blencoe on January 12, 1965 in Minneapolis, Minnesota and they enjoyed over 57 years of marriage together. Roger served in the United States Air Force for 4 years and
then moved on to have a successful career in the insurance and banking fields. He was a very humble man who never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone in need. Roger enjoyed reading and learning new things; being a master at
being able to quote “useless” informational facts that covered all subjects. Roger also enjoyed working on his tractor, painting, and listening to music. Roger will always be remembered by the loving family and many friends he leaves behind.
Roger is survived by his wife of more than 57 years Carolyn Blencoe; two daughters Cheryl Little and Rhonda Hutchings and husband Don; two sisters Sharon Engen and Becky Kuhn; six grandchildren Christopher Row, Jacob Allen, Ryan Nelson, Rilyn Nelson, Reid Nelson and Rayden Nelson; great grandson Cayden Row as well as many other loving family and friends.

Cremation arrangements for Mr. Blencoe are under the direction of Croley Funeral
Home in Hawkins. No further services are scheduled at this time.
