Rodney Tucker

Rodney Tucker, 71, went home to be with the Lord on August 19, 2021 at his residence in Willis, Texas. He was born in Gilmer, Texas on August 26, 1949 to Donald and Geraldine Tucker.

Graveside services will be held Monday, August 23, 2021 at 11:30 A.M. at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer with Rodney Cox and Ricky Tucker officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.

Rodney proudly served in the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam. He was a member of the Church of Christ and he worked for Eastman as an accountant and financial manager.

A loving husband, father, and grandfather, Rodney is survived by his wife of 47 years, Kathy Tucker, mother: Geraldine Tucker, son: Ryan Tucker and wife Jenna, daughter: Jill Griffith and husband Todd, brother: Tim Tucker and wife Susan, sisters: Debbie Lansdale, and Vicki Gann and husband Jerry, grandchildren: Elizabeth Griffith, Rachel Griffith and Rose Tucker.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Tucker and grandchildren; James and Kathryn Griffith.
