Services for Roderick Ray Williamson, 69, of Union Grove, will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at 2 P.M. at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend David McGee officiating. Burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery. Born on February 5, 1944, in Dallas, Texas, he died on Wednesday, April 10, 2013. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife, Mary Williamson of Union Grove; son and daughter-in-law, John Brett and Bobbie Mayfield of DeSoto; daughter, Holly Rene Coleman of Union Grove; 6 grandchildren, Morgan Mayfield, Brandi Robinson, Dakota Coleman, Paisley McDaniel, Stormie Coots, Whisper Coots; 1 great-grandchild, Cecile McDaniel; and 2 sisters, Vernon Burk of California and Bobbi Franklin of Greenville; and his beloved dog, Missy. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. on Friday, April 12, 2013, at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater.
