Robert Mark George

Services for Mark George, 57, of Gilmer, will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, September 17, 2013, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. David Gilmer officiating. Interment will follow at Kelsey Cemetery. Mr. George passed away on Friday, September 13, 2013, in Gilmer. Mark was born February 28, 1956, in San Diego, CA, to Darrell L . and Clara Faye George. He worked in retail management and was a general manager for IHOP. Mark is survived by his wife: Elaine George of Gilmer; son: Nathan George of Gilmer; daughters: Nadia George of Birmingham, AL, Sofia George of Gilmer, Sasha George of Montgomery, AL, Mia George of Gilmer; mother: Clara Faye George of Little Rock, AR; and sisters: Gayla Gibbons of Little Rock, AR and Georgina Daniel of Sheridan, AR. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, September 16, from 6 to 8 PM.
