Robert Ham, Sr.

Graveside services for Robert Ham, Sr., 80, of Big Sandy will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 27, 2012, at Pine View Cemetery in Pine View, Georgia with Grady Selph officiating. Interment will be in the Pine View Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle, Georgia. Mr. Ham passed away Saturday, September 22, 2012 at a Longview hospital. Mr. Ham was born October 19, 1931 in Pine View, Georgia, to John Warren and Martha Edna Dennard Ham. He was a veteran of the United States Army, owner of Ham Insurance Agency, had lived in Dawson, Georgia for 45 years before moving too Big Sandy, Texas two years ago and a member Intercontinental Church of God. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Ham of Big Sandy; daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Larry Ellison of Big Sandy and Robin and Klaus Rothe of Bloomington, Indiana; sister, Janie Lou McDuffey of Douglasville, Georgia; grandchildren, Jessica Ellison and Matthew Ellison; great-grandchildren, Nathan Ellison, Isla Ellison and August Ellison. Preceded in death by son, Bobby Ham. Local arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer, Texas and there will be no scheduled visitation.
