Robert G. Allen Gladewater -- Services for Robert G. Allen, 61, of Gladewater, will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2012, at 1 P.M. at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater with Pastor Bob Gray II officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Union City, Pennsylvania. Born on September 16, 1951, he died on Sunday, October 7, 2012. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, a plate maker for Impressive Image Works , and a member of the Longview Baptist Temple. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Allen of Gladewater; son, Scott Allen of North Carolina; 2 daughters and son-in-law, Aimee Allen of Eufaula, Oklahoma; Ashley and Bryan Jarolim of Longview; 11 grandchildren; and brother, William Allen of Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lyle and Mae Allen. If so desired, memorials may be made to the Longview Baptist Temple, Attn: Nursing Home Ministry, 2200 W. Loop 281, Longview, Texas 75604. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M. on Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater.
