Graveside services for Robert Frank McFatridge III,81, of Tyler will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, May 4, 2015, at Chilton Cemetery in Big Sandy with Bro. Bill Nowell officiating under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mr. McFatridge passed away on Thursday, April 30, in Tyler. He was born on November 14, 1933, in Brookston, Texas, to Robert F. McFatridge II and Elna Lavada Hinshaw McFatridge. On June 4, 1984, he married Birdie Lou Morrow in Merritt, Texas. Mr. McFatridge worked 42 years at Union Pacific and was a Railroad Engineer before his retirement. He is survived his wife, Lou McFatridge of Tyler; son, Robert Frank McFatridge IIII of Robinson, TX; daughters, Deborah Coleen Cox of Winona, Barbara Bruechner of Mt. Pleasant; five grandchildren, Kelli Moseley, Holli Altobello, Alyssa McFatridge, Bryanna McFatridge and Lacey McFatridge; seven great grandchildren, Taylor Murphy, Lane Dickens, Jacob Moseley, Ashlyn Altobello, Corey Maxfield, Colby Maxfield and Tanner Moseley and one great great grandchild, Colt Moseley. Mr. McFatridge preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2015, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
