Masonic services for Robert "Bob" Chumley, 68, of Pritchett will be held 11:00 A.M, Friday, November 4, 2011, at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer with Larry W. Osborne officiating. Graveside services will follow at Hoover Cemetery in Big Sandy. Mr. Chumley passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 in Pritchett He was born on June 14, 1933, in Houston, Texas to Walter and Mildred Hirsch Chumley. Mr. Chumley served in the U. S. Army, was a member of the Bethesda Masonic Lodge #142 A. F. & A.M. and a Baptist. He was a successful businessman, owner and original founder of Milestone Metals in Houston until his retirement. Mr. Chumley is survived by his wife, Meadie Chumley of Pritchett; sons, Robert R. "Bobby" Chumley, Jr. of Galveston, Stacy Brian Chumley of Spring; stepsons, Randy Rials and wife, Julie of Chandler Arizona, Terry Rials and wife, Jackie of Chandler, Arizona; daughter, Stormy Chumley Smith and husband, Dennis of Livingston; stepdaughter, Cassandra Palmer and husband, Ivan of Glendale, Arizona; 12 grandchildren, Tabitha Eckler, Jonathan Chumley, Robert Chumley, Shawn Chumley, Jessica Leaming, Jacob Stainbrook, Felisha "Fish" Stainbrook, Brittany Rials, Anthony Aguilar, Cassie Rials, T. J. Rials and Jillian Hergott, ; 4 great grandchildren, Michael Eckler, Logan Eckler, Brooke Covarrubias and Abigail Leaming. He was preceded in death by his step-son, J"Sean D. Marsh and daughter, Cheryl D. Rolan Chumley.
