Robert Bob Lee

Services for Robert "Bob" Lee, 89, of Gladewater, will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at 3:00 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church with Reverend Wayne Flowers and Reverend Dick Dobbins officiating. Burial will be in Gladewater Memorial Park. Born on January 5, 1924, in Corsicana, Texas, he died on Friday, March 29, 2013. He was a retired instrument technician for Gulf Oil and an active member of the Gladewater First United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Katye Lee of Gladewater; sons and daughter-in-law, Danny and Tina Lee of Longview and Doug Lee of Potomac, Maryland; 3 grandsons, Robert Lee, Colin Lee, and Christopher Lee; and 1 brother, George W. Lee of Longview. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lera Lee; son, David Lee; brothers, Hughland Lee and Denmond Lee. Pallbearers will be Ronald Williams, Donald Williams, Larry Aaron, Jim Thompson, Craig Cartwright, Mike Morrison, Jerry Adams, and Ron Buckner. Honorary pallbearers will be Jay Edwards, Max Wakeland, James Walker, Mike Williams, and Jack Phillips. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. on Monday, April 1, 2013, at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater.
