Robbie Lee Corbitt

Funeral services for Robbie Lee Corbitt, 83, of Gladewater, will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater with Reverend Michael Lee Mitchell. The family will receive friends Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Robbie passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019, in Gladewater with family by her side.

Robbie was born on April 16, 1935 in Gregg County, Texas to the late Homer O. Corbitt and Nancy Elizabeth Horn Corbitt. She was a retired secretary and a member of the Methodist faith. She loved her family and many friends. She enjoyed writing poetry as a hobby and compiled and had a book of her poems published by a niece, Loretta Doty.

She is survived by sister Valeria Mitchell, a number of nieces and nephews as well as her loving nephews from a previous marriage Joe Schlenk and wife Paula, Tom Schlenk and William Schlenk also a great niece Suzonna Geagan and great nephews Kody and Sean Schlenk.

Robbie was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, five brothers and a beloved niece Mary Schlenk Edwards.
