Rickey Allen Foster, a true Texan through and through, passed away on April 24, 2024, in Seiling, Oklahoma. Born in Dallas on August 11, 1960, Rickey was a man of many passions and an immense love for his family. From fishing to Harley Davidson motorcycles, and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, he always found joy in the simple things in life.
Rickey's pride and joy were his daughters, Heather and Shanda, and his adored grandchildren, who he cherished above all else. A kind-hearted soul, Rickey was always willing to lend a helping hand and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. His love for music shone through in his guitar playing, bringing happiness to those around him.
Rickey is survived by his daughters, Heather Bellows and husband Ricky and Shanda Griebel and husband Karl; son, Jerry Williams; bonus children, Candace Moya and husband JJ, Brittany Burke and Aaron Burke; grandchildren, Kobe, Hailee, Marlee, Brynlee and Huxlee who is on the way; bonus grandchildren, Corban, Raegan, Justin, Aurianna, Xander, Gavin and Lorelei; brother, Mike Foster and wife Kelly; sisters, Linda and Vickie; grandpups, Kamden and Krash; his 2 best friends, Tim Garrett and Bubba McClain; as well as many other nieces and nephews.
Rickey is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Margaret.
Known as "Memaw's baby," Rickey's family will forever hold him close to their hearts as they remember his infectious laughter and unwavering love. His presence in their lives will be deeply missed.
A Funeral Service to honor and celebrate Rickey's life will be held at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater, Texas on April 29, 2024, at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Friendship Cemetery in Gladewater, Texas. Friends and family are invited to join in remembering and celebrating the life of this incredible man who touched so many hearts with his generosity and love. Rickey may be gone, but his spirit will live on in the memories of those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
