Richard "R.B." Hodge

Services for Richard “R.B” Hodge, 63, of Diana will be at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Grubbs-Loyd Chapel Diana, with Scott Coy officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Athens, Texas. He passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at his home.

R.B. was born March 23, 1956 in Dallas, Texas to Robert Henry Hodge and Mary Magdelaine Coleman. R. B. was a district manager for Family Dollar for 25 years. He enjoyed growing fruits in vegetables in his garden and taking care of his cows.

R.B. is survived by his wife, Deborah Hodge; son, Bryan Hodge and wife Tammy; daughters, Becky Winn and Carrie Frey; brother, Raymond Hodge; grandchildren; Brandon, Brentley, Cody, Christina, and Alex; great grandchildren, Kylie, Rilynn, Alexis, MacKenzie, Troy and Carter.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, James Dale Hodge; sister, Jeanie Norman, and a brother, Robbie Hodge.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, 6-8 p.m. at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana.
