Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Born on May 25, 1943, in North Adams, Massachusetts, he died on Sunday, May 27, 2012. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He is survived by 3 sons, Christopher Joseph Brown of Gladewater; Richard Brown, Jr. of Longview; Richard Dean Brown of Pineland; 1 daughter, Tina Brown Sullens of Longview; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and 1 sister, Sherry Morris of Henderson. No visitation is scheduled.
