Graveside services for Richard "Dick" Dougherty, 86, of Holly Lake Ranch will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tyler with Bro. Pete Dugger officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Tyler. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins. Mr. Dougherty passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at his residence. Mr. Dougherty was born February 17, 1927 in Nocona, TX to Charles E. and Eva Combs Dougherty. He was a retired Land Surveyor, veteran United States Navy World War II and Korean War, member of the Holly Lake Ranch Men"s Golf Association and 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge A. F. & A. M., Tyler Number 1233. He is survived by his wife, Claudia Dougherty of Holly Lake Ranch; niece and spouse, Gail and Jack McDowell of Longview; great nephews, John McDowell of Plano, Brent McDowell of Longview, Charles Dougherty of Austin and Patrick Dougherty of Houston. Visitation will from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 21, 2013 at Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins.
