Richard Kent Fry

Richard Kent Fry, age 82, passed away on June 7, 2023.  He was born on August 15, 1940, in Marlin, TX, to the late William and Earlene Fry.

Richard was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.  He was a kind and generous man who touched the lives of many.  He will be remembered for his unwavering love and support for his family and friends.

Richard is survived by his children, Kim (Shane) Adams, Cari (Robert) Smith, his grandchildren, Andrew (Savannah) Fry, Matthew (Hayley) Adams, Joshua Smith, Morgan Smith and his great-grandson Peyton Fry.  He will also be missed by his extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held graveside Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at 10 am at Memorial Park Cemetery in Gladewater, TX. 

Richard will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his kindness, wisdom, and gentle spirit. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
