Reed Huff

Graveside services for Reed Huff, 70, of Hawkins will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Liberty Cemetery in Wood County with Dr. Bill Holmes officiating. Interment will be in the Liberty Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins. Mr. Huff passed away Monday, March 11, 2013 in a Tyler hospital. Mr. Huff was born April 6, 1942 in Mineola, TX, to Jack C. and Mary Etta Stewart Huff. He was a retired machine operator with Smurfit-Stone and a lifetime resident of Wood County. Mr. Huff married Betty Keel on May 31, 1962 in Whitehouse, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Bettie Huff of Hawkins; sons and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Jamie Huff of Tyler and Randy Huff of Hawkins; six grandchildren, Casey Jo, Phillip, Brian, Lyric, Brennan and Katie; one great-granddaughter, Katyn; and great-grandson, Dexter, on the way. Mr. Huff was preceded in death by his brother, Wilbert Huff. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins.
