Gilmer -- Services for Randal Lee Stanley, 67, of Waxahatchie, will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016, at 2 P.M. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with Peter Sullivan conducting. Burial will be in Enoch Cemetery. Born on March 27, 1949, in Dallas, Texas, to Melvin and Billie Townsend Stanley, he died on Monday, March 28, 2016. in a Dallas hospital. He was longtime employee of the Union Pacific Railroad in Ft. Worth, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Carla McWhorter Stanley of Waxahachie; two sons, Robert Lee Stanley of Colorado and Terry Wayne Stanley of Arlington; 3 grandchildren; and 1 sister, Sharon Waddle of Dallas. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Debbie Stanley. The family will receive friends from 1 P.M. to service time at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Gilmer.
