Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park under the direction of Croley Funeral Home of Gilmer. Randy passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2010 in Gilmer. He was born on February 5, 1959, in Dallas, Texas to Dr. John D. Misenheimer and Verda Mae Murphy Misenheimer. On May 5, 1990 he married Tina Cook in Dallas, Texas and was employed as an engineer for Lockheed Martin before his retirement. Randy was a devoted husband and father who continually strived to demonstrate the love of Christ to his family and friends. His primary motivation in the last months of his life was to make sure those around him knew about his relationship with God. That true happiness is found only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Randy and his wife, Tina established Kinsman Home Health and Kinsman Hospice Care in 2005. Randy named Kinsman after a favorite bible story, the book of Ruth that describes how God provided for Ruth during a desperate time in her life. Randy epitomized this reliance on God through the good and bad times of his life journey. Randy leaves a legacy of faith, devotion and service which is daily manifested in the lives of his loving children and devoted wife. He is survived by his wife Tina Misenheimer of Gilmer; mother Verda Mae Misenheimer of Gilmer; son, Luke Misenheimer of Gilmer; daughter, Rebekah Diaz of Gilmer; grandmother, Evelyn Pasqual of Hemet, California; sister, Lisa Phippen of Gilmer; nieces and nephews, Carlee, Marriah and Celine Phippen, Peter and Derek Dougherty, Ashley Godbey, Timothy, Matthew and Samuel Kitchens, Brent Alan and Melanie Cook.
