Ralph Edwin Poitevint

Funeral services for Ralph Edwin Poitevint, 65, will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 24, 2013 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Todd Quinn officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer. Mr. Poitevint passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013 in Tyler. The family will receive friends from 12 until 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home on Friday. Ralph was born November 29, 1947, in Lamesa, Texas, to Jay T. and Lou Ella Gandy Poitevint. He lived in Gilmer since 1970, worked for Gilmer Pottery and was a member of Frontier Cowboy Church of NE Texas. He is survived by his sister, Janet Knight of Gilmer; niece, Janice East; nephew, Jason Knight; one great nephew; one great niece and friend Johnny Hensley.
