Quilla Turner Stipp aged 82, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2021 after a long battle with complications from diabetes and congestive heart failure. She was born on May 24, 1938 to Cyrrol and Hardy Turner in Grice, Texas.
Quilla was a beloved wife to William Stipp, and mother to Desiree Kloza. She was also a beloved Me Me to granddaughters Kendall and Kameron Kloza, aged 21 and 18 respectively. Quilla was preceded in death by her mother and father, and older brother, Weldon “Reed” Turner. In addition to her immediate family, she is also survived by her older brother, Wendell Turner.
Quilla was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School in San Antonio and she went on to attend classes at a business college. She spent the majority of her life being a wife, mother, and homemaker.
In her later years, Quilla enjoyed spending time with her husband, William, and playing dominoes with her neighbor, but her biggest joy was her 2 granddaughters. She was Kendall and Kameron’s number one fan both on and off the soccer field. She enjoyed attending high school, club, and later on, college games supporting both of her granddaughters. She could always be relied on to send good luck wishes with many “I love yous” when she became too ill to attend the games.
Quilla, Mom, Me Me, you will be missed. We love you dearly. “Wiggle Wiggle.”
