Penny Ola Allen

Funeral services for Penny Ola Gore Allen, 91, of Gilmer, will be held Friday, July 11, at 1:00 P.M. at the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Fred, TX. with Rev. Fred Raney officiating. Burial will follow in the Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred. Mrs. Allen Died on Tuesday July 8, 2014 in Longview. She was born on January 10, 1923 in Silsbee, Texas, to Ashley and Elmer Gore. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Allen; son, Don Allen and two brothers, Kenneth Gore and Prentice Gore. Survivors include a daughter, Melba Jenkins and husband, David of Gilmer; daughter "in-law, Jane Allen of Conroe; brother, Clayton Gore and wife, Kay of Fred; sister-in-law, Anna Mary Gore of Silsbee; four grandchildren, Paula Peveto, Chris Jenkins, Julie Geller and Jennifer Arnaud. Also surviving her are nine great-grandchildren, WesleyWiler, Ashley Ebach, Kent Mitcham, James Jenkins, Savanna Jenkins, Lillie Jenkins, Hank Jenkins, Madison Geller and Tate Geller and two great "great grandchildren, Trenton Wiler and Nate Ebach along with numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11, 2014, from 12:00-1:00P.M.at the church.
