Peggy Hubbard Gidden

Graveside service for Ms. Peggy Gidden, 71, of Big Sandy will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Liberty Cemetery in Wood County with Dr. Bill Holmes and Clint Carter officiating. Ms. Gidden passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 in Tyler, Texas.

Peggy was born July 24, 1949 in Irving, Texas to the late Bill and Hariett Wilson Hubbard. She worked in the billing office at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler for 26 years and was a member of the Green Acres Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory is her friends, Carla Wang-Kocik and Donna Hammond; as well as several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, Don Gidden; parents, and sister, Martha Hubbard Pace.

Pallbearers for the service are Steve Carter, Clint Carter, David Carter, Jim Sprouse, Roger Pace and Billy Honeycutt.
