Funeral services for Peggy Davidson Manley, 74, of Gilmer will be held 10:00 A.M, Monday, August 12, 2013, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Bro Kenneth Manley officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mrs. Manley passed away Friday, August 9, 2013 in a Winnsboro nursing home. She was born October 20, 1938 in the Grice Community of Upshur County to Reverend L.D. and Jessie Viola Davidson. She was retired geriatrics nurse having worked in nursing homes and private care nursing. Mrs. Manley is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, David Manley of Mt. Pleasant and Bro. Kenneth and Phyllis Manley of Gilmer; daughter and son-in-law, Lorie and Alan Adams of Gilmer; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronnie and Leah Davidson of Gilmer and Johnnie and Jane Davidson of Gilmer; seven grandchildren, Justin Manley, Erin Manley, Jeremiah Manley, Jennifer Threlfall, Emily Krus, Allison Adams and Cooper Adams; five great-grandchildren, Austin Manley, Colton Manley, Tyler Manley, Cameron Manley and Baby Threlfall. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Manley; parents; son, Paul Willis Manley; brother, Duell Ray Davidson. Pallbearers will be Greg Davidson, Todd Davidson, Ray Davidson, Daniel Medina, Corey Krus and Adam Walker. Honorary Pallbearer will be Roy Miller. Visitation will be from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, August 11, 2013 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
