Peggy Jean Bostick

Peggy Jean Bostick passed away with family by her side on Thursday, September 5, 2024 in Longview, TX. A graveside services, officiated by Wayne Norvell, will be held Sunday, September 8 at 2:00 pm, at West Mountain Cemetery, under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater.

 Peggy was born in Gladewater, TX on March 29, 1941, the first of five children, to Aswell and Ruby Jones. She married Harold Lynn Bostick on May 30, 1959, and together they spent the next 52 years building a life full of precious memories. Peggy loved her family dearly, and her grandchildren were the lights of her life.

 Peggy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Tim Hall; daughter and son-in-law, Latricia and Howard Hardy; daughter, Vickie Bostick; grandchildren, Michelle Whitten, David Tankersley, Tanner Tankersley, and Vic Sexton; brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Kathie Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews.

 She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lynn Bostick; mother and father, Ruby and Aswell Jones; brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Joyce Jones; sisters, Mary Elizabeth Bell and Anna Louise Laughlin; son-in-law, David K. Tankersley; and grandson, Chance Tankersley.
