Pearl Louise Wright

Services for Mrs. Pearl Louise Wright, 93, of Diana are scheduled for 11AM, Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Morton Baptist Church with Brother Mike Brittain and Brother Don Bean officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church at 10AM. Arrangements under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. She passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021 in Gladewater.

Pearl was born March 6, 1928 in Saltillo, Texas, to Edgar Hubert and Letha Ora (Jackson) Peek. She worked for Harleton ISD in the food service department. Pearl was a lifelong member of Morton Baptist Church where she was a member of the Eastern Star, Baptist Disaster Relief and handled the floral arrangements for the church. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and gardening in her free time but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She truly loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great grandchildren and loved spending time with them all.

Pearl is survived by her husband of 73 years, Loyd Patrick ”Jack” Wright, son, Kevin Wright, daughter in law, Sharon Wright, daughter; Linda Wilhelm, grandchildren; Carl and Donna Wright, Michael and Taylor Blackwood, Brian and Julie Wright, Mersades Blackwood and Terry Tingle, Keith Tidwell, Megan Wright, great grandchildren; Kara Wright, Nicole and James Haynes, Kyle Wright, Hannah Wright, Addison Wright, Brent and Taylor Tidwell, Lindsey and Chadden Beggs, Kortlyn Blackwood, Michael Blackwood, Kamdyn Blackwood, Carter Blackwood, Regan Tingle, Avery Tingle, Hallie Tingle, great, great grandchildren; Mason Tidwell, Lawson Wyatt, Carson Beggs, and Lucas Ortiz.

She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Charles Patrick Wright, son in laws: Charles Wilhelm, Richard Tidwell and great great granddaughter, Addison Wyatt.
