Pearl Jane Bumgarner

GILMER " Pearl Jane Bumgarner, 93, of Big Sandy, will be laid to rest beside her husband of 62 years, the late Joe Bumgarner, on October 28, 2015. Jane passed away on October 24, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer, Texas with Pastor Daniel Friz officiating. Visitation will be at 1:00 P.M. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery on Lemon Road in Pritchett. Jane was born in Talala, Oklahoma on May 22, 1922, to Viet and Pearl Shimp Brownfield. She was the oldest of seven children. She had a real passion for birds, and thoroughly enjoyed keeping her feathered friends well fed. Mrs. Bumgarner was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and four brothers. Mrs.Bumgarner is survived by her two sisters, June Tisdale of Houston and Rena Faye Venable of Alba, Texas, three nieces and five nephews.
