Paulette Elaine Kerr

Paulette Elaine (Pendarvis) Kerr passed away on October 30, 2024, in Pearland, Texas at the age of 76. She was born on September 25, 1948, in Gilmer, Texas.

Her career as a nurse's aide was marked by an extraordinary commitment to helping others. Paulette's gentle touch and warm smile brought comfort to many, and her presence lit up the lives of patients and their families alike.

Those left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Janice Shiffler and husband Tom, Lisa Holland and husband Ken, Jill Perry and husband David, Melissa Clifton and husband Craig, Jennifer and husband Steven; stepson, James Wayne McCauley; brother, Glen Butler; sisters, Lela Rodriguez and husband Gabriel, and Kelly Butler; 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Paulette was preceded in death by her parents, Boyd and Lydia Aline (Pendarvis) Butler; husband, Cloy Kerr; son, James Clifford McCauley; brother, Jack Moore; grandson, David Lee Cooper and granddaughter, Donna Kay Cooper.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on November 6, 2024, at the Coffeeville Cemetery in Upshur County, Texas.
