Paula Jean Sohns

Cremation arrangements for Mrs. Paula Jean Sohns, 67, of White Oak are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Mrs. Sohns passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020, in White Oak. A celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.

Mrs. Sohns was born June 16, 1953 in Waco, Texas to the late Chester Louis Dabbs and Ollie Mae Olson Dabbs. Paula worked in hotel management for many years. She was a great cook and loved preparing meals for her family and friends. Paula loved the Lord and lived life to the fullest traveling, dancing, spending time with family and friends and above all she enjoyed her Dr. Peppers. She needed to be needed and was always helping take care of those in need. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will not soon be forgotten.

Paula is survived by her daughter Cynthia Kilgore and husband Ricky; two sons Corey Sohns and wife Tisha and Terry Sohns and wife Marla; three sisters Carole Coone and husband Lonnie, Patty Dabbs and Connie Warren; five grandchildren Destanie Kemp, Savannah Sohns, Richard Sohns and wife Clara, Kaitlyn Morley and Austin Sohns; five great grandchildren Raeleigh Normandin, Gracie Kemp, Charlie Bahm, Lilah Stogner and Cody Lane Sohns; her beloved dachshund “Baby Girl” numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews as well as many other loving family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband and a sister.
