Paul Kenneth Friend

Paul Kenneth Friend passed away on March 19, 2025, in Longview, Texas. He was born on March 17, 1942, in Kentucky.

Paul proudly served in the Navy, dedicating part of his life to his country.

Paul was a man of many interests. He loved fishing, often finding peace and joy by the water. Traveling was another one of his great passions; he explored various places, creating memories that he cherished. Music played a significant role in his life as well. He proudly took the stage as the lead singer and player in his band, Honky Tonk Stardust Cowboy, sharing his love of music with audiences who appreciated his talents. Additionally, he had a knack for woodworking, crafting beautiful pieces that showcased his skill and creativity.

Paul had a unique way of making others feel valued, always sharing his heartfelt farewell of "Go with God in your heart and have a blessed day" before ending a phone call.

He is survived by Marilinda Barker.

In accordance with Paul's wishes, there will be no service.
