Services for Paul Edward Smith, 72, of Gladewater, Texas will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater, Texas. Paul passed on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at his home in Gladewater. Services are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home. Paul was born to Paul and Dorothy Smith in Ft Worth, Texas on August 4, 1942. He graduated from Kilgore High School and attended Kilgore College. He was self employed as a Heating and Air Conditioning technician. He met and married Carol Ann Ledbetter in 1984 in Porter, Texas and they made Gladewater their home. He is survived by his wife Carol Smith of Gladewater; son, Kevin Smith and wife Christine, son, Jimmy Youngblood Jr.; daughters, Lisa Wright, Sheri Youngblood and Deneva Zamora; brother Bill Smith and wife Ann as well as 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Timothy Scott Smith. The visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Croley Funeral Home.
