Patty Marie Richard

Patty Marie Richard, age 66, of Gilmer passed away on April 13, 2023. She was born on September 4, 1956, in Houma, Louisiana to Norman Breaux Sr. and Blanche Maronge Breaux.

Patty worked for Kroger Grocery for almost 15 years, retiring in August of 2021. She was at her happiest being at home and was a very involved grandmother who loved to cook, enjoy wine and spend time with her close friends, family and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; Norman Breaux Jr. and Cecil Breaux, and two sisters; Barbra Holmes and Carolyn Babin.

Patty is survived by her children; Mitsy Wempe and husband Jason, Kayla Armond and partner Craig Bartholomew, and Joshua Richard and wife Amasa; brother, Carol Breaux and wife Mary, sisters; Judy Jeffery and husband Frankie and Joy Breaux Lasseigne and husband Wayne; grandchildren, Britnie’Ann McCraw, Jaci Armond, Alexander Armond, Chase Armond, Cameron Richard, Colton Richard, Gage Richard, and step-grandson Jacob Wempe and partner Amanda Landeche; great grandchildren, Cayson, Cashton, and Jaxx, and many other loving family members.

A private and intimate celebration of life will be held at the discretion of the family.
