Patsy Molnar

Patsy Molnar, 79, of Diana passed away Sunday March 10, 2019 in Longview, Texas. Memorial services for Patsy will be at 2:00 in the afternoon, Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Walnut Creek Baptist Church in Diana, Texas.

Patsy was born November 13, 1939 in Diana, Texas to Chessie Dewie East and Jessie Ward East. Patsy retired in 1999 from a 32-year career in accounting from Alliance Data Systems in Dallas, Tx. She enjoyed cross-stitch, gardening and feeding the wild birds. She would put the bird seed out every morning and would enjoy watching the birds that would visit thru out the day.

As a teenage growing up in Diana she also become a lifelong fan of Elvis. In June of 1958 she married Bela Molnar from Hungary. They had several opportunities that they traveled to Hungary to visit family. While she was there she learned to cook several Hungarian dishes.

She also enjoyed the times when her grandchildren would come to visit during their summer and winter breaks. They enjoyed spending time playing Skip-Bo with her.

Patsy is survived by her son, Bela Molnar Jr. and wife Virginia, brothers; Dewey East and wife Doris, Melvin East and wife Karen, grandchildren Samantha Molnar-White, Isabella Molnar and Matthew Molnar, great-grandchildren Natalie Ava and Karina Avery.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bela Molnar Sr. and sister Norma Jean East.
