Funeral service for Patsy Marie Bass, 67 of Winnsboro will be Wednesday, November 8, 2017, 10:00 a.m. at Simpsonville Baptist Church with Bro. Richard Wells officiating and interment to follow at Perryville Cemetery with Bro. Bob Ross officiating and under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Family will receive friends Tuesday, November 7, 2017 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Croley Funeral home in Gilmer. Mrs. Patsy passed away Saturday, November 4, 2017.

Mrs. Bass was born November 28, 1949 in Pittsburg, Texas to the late Vernon Bickerstaff and Ludie Whitaker Mrs. Bass was an administrative assistant at Lake Bob Sandlin and of the Baptist faith.

Patsy is survived by her husband; Joe Bass, daughters; Kim Mitcham and Pam Bass, and four grandchildren; Michael Mitcham, Cody Mitcham, Alex Mitcham, and Alexis Mitcham.

Mrs. Bass is preceded in death by her father; Vernon Bickerstaff, Step father and mother; Chester Richard and Ludie, brothers; Tommy Bickerstaff and Don Bickerstaff, and sisters; Ruth Thomas and Peggy Greig.
