Patrick Eugene Dan Howell

Due to the current public health situation and mandates set in place for COVID-19, a private family service will be held for Patrick Howell with a public memorial service being held around September 5, 2020 with food, fellowship, and fun.

Patrick Eugene Dan Howell, 52, of Gilmer, Texas was born on September 2, 1967 in Germany, Dan and Malinda Howell adopted Patrick from an orphanage in Lorrach, Germany when he was just two years old. Mr. Howell was self-employed in the pest control business, as well as receiving his real estate license and auto body repair license from Trinity Valley Community College. Patrick also served as a Volunteer Fire Fighter in Upshur County for many years.

Mr. Howell is survived by his wife, Dr. Cherie Nazzal-Howell of Gilmer; daughters, Dr. Diana Hobbs of New Orleans and Dr. Athena Hobbs of Memphis, TN; sister, Ines Rogg of Germany, and other siblings of Germany; cousins, Tracey Howell, Randy Howell, Brian Howell, Sheila Ratcliff, Mark Howell, Ronnie Howell, Kerrie Melton, Mike Howell, Joel Howell, Mary Crawford, Raymond Stegall, Robin Owens, Charlotte Hopper, Michelle Cahal, and Sherry Stegall Harrell; and uncles, Jerry and Frank Howell.

Mr. Howell was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son; and cousin, Raymie Howell.
