Patricia Sue Taylor Tomme
Patricia Sue Taylor (Pat) Tomme went home to be with the Lord on April 30, 2024.
She was born on January 21, 1936, to George Herbert Taylor and Lillie Mae Gossett Taylor, who preceded her in death. She was married to Bobby Dale Tomme for sixty-four years, who preceded her in death in 2017.
Pat was a loving wife and mother who raised six wonderful children. After the children were all in school, she returned to nursing school, where she graduated as an LVN. For a while, she worked in the OB department of Good Shepherd Hospital. After Bob and Pat purchased Architectural Marble Company, Pat worked as the accountant for the company until her retirement. Following retirement, Bob and Pat traveled extensively throughout the lower United States and Alaska, making numerous friendships and making an impact on the lives of others. They were members of the Family Motor Coach Association and Pat was a member of the Red Hat Society. Pat was an avid game player, Kansas City Chiefs fan, and Texas Ranger fan. She was excited to experience the Rangers winning the World Series and the Chiefs winning the Superbowl in the last year of her life! But her real passion was watching her great-grandchildren playing baseball and softball.
She is survived by her children, David and (Lynette) Tomme of Brixey, MO, Mike and (Kim) Tomme of Malakoff, TX, Suzy and (Garry) Grubbs, Longview, TX, Cindy and (Ralph) Romaguera, Madisonville, LA, and Liz Wilkinson, Gilmer, TX. Billy Tomme preceded her in death in 2004.
She is survived by one sister, Charlotte Ann Taylor of Farmerville, LA. A brother, George E Taylor preceded her in death in 2020.
Also survived by sister-in-law Deloris Wilkinson, Leesburg, TX, brother-in-law Steve and (Judy) Tomme, Pittsburg, TX, and sister-in-law Elizabeth Tomme, Balch Springs, TX.
