Patricia Jane Stoecker

Patricia Jane Allen Stoecker, 86, of Lindale, TX passed away on December 22, 2023.  Patricia was born in Wichita Falls, TX, to TJ and Leota Allen.  She grew up in the Dallas Metroplex, and graduated from Crozier Tech High School.  Patricia began her working life with Zales Jewelers, but was a purchasing agent for Collins Radio, Electrospace, and Rockwell for most of her career.

Patricia was a devoted and loving wife and mother. She was known for her sense of humor, enjoyed her family and friends, and was known for “telling it like it is”.  Some called her “feisty”.  She was kind-hearted and giving to those she loved.

In her younger days, she enjoyed traveling with her husband, Dale, to play golf. She was an avid golfer at Holly Lake Ranch, and was very involved in the Holly Lake Women’s Golf Association.  She was a recipient of several golf tournament awards over the years, and played golf well into her 70’s.  She leaves behind many treasured memories to all who knew her.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Tonia Kaye Maddox Thurman;  stepson, Brett Charles Stoecker, 7 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, TJ and Leota Allen; and her daughter Patti Jo Maddox.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 12 o'clock in the afternoon at Holly Tree Cemetery.  Fellowship and refreshments will follow at her daughters home, 1124 CR 3860 Hawkins, TX 75765, (214) 288-1244.
