Patricia G Lyle

Patricia G. Lyle age 83, of Longview, formerly of Beaumont, passed away on January 1, 2023 in Longview. Funeral services for Mrs. Lyle will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 2pm at Morton Baptist Church in Diana. Visitation will be held at 1pm at the church before the service.

Patricia was born on November 21, 1939 in Beaumont, Texas to William Algy Crawford and Addye Jean Sims. She worked as a ward clerk for 40 years for Baptist Hospital & St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. She loved to sing, and crochet many, many blankets, and worked on puzzles. She loved to watch westerns, particularly Gunsmoke. Patricia had a big heart and loved the Lord. She attended church at Rosedale Baptist Church & Calvary Baptist in Beaumont. Patricia treasured her family and her friends at Haven Care Nursing Home. She will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John D. Lyle, a brother; William Algy Crawford & sister in law Gladys Crawford and a sister; Jolynn Harris & brother in law Clint Harris.

Patricia is survived by a son; John Brent Lyle of Beaumont, daughter; Kristi Bean and husband Don of Diana, three grandchildren; Ashley Sterrett and husband Jamey of Mount Pleasant, Amanda Thompson and husband Ricky of Gladewater, and Mikeal Bean and wife Judy of Denton; great grandchildren, Lilly, Conner, Wendy, Abigail, Miles, and one on the way.
